I have a 1975 unimog 406…
I have a 1975 unimog 406 with the diff locker lever. I’m struggling with how to engage it. I’ve tried putting it in neutral and shifting it, turning the unit off and trying to engage it but I can’t seem to get it to engage.
Can anyone help me with turning on the diff locks? It is the lever kind not the switch.

Position 1 - Down. Rear wheel drive. No 4x4, no diff lock.
Position 2 - Pulling the lever one click up. 4 wheel drive, no diff lock.
Position 3 - Pulling the lever two click up to highest position. 4 wheel drive with diff locked.
